The Bright Place worked closely with HMV and Universal Music Group to produce the BrightTouch system for in-store use across HMV’s 250 UK stores.
The BluetCasting-enabled touch-screen system allows users to browse content which is available for download to their phones for free.
Content includes:
• Top 20 Chart Videos
• Top 20 Classic Videos
• Film/TV trailers
• Promotional Videos
Users simply choose the content they want, select their handset and receive content within seconds.

The system is highly flexible and includes the ability to provide content either free, conditional on the user entering their email or via pay-per-download vouchers.
The Bright Place designed and built the content management and eCommerce back-end which covers ingestion, compression and deployment of content direct to each BrightTouch unit overnight, thus saving each store's network bandwidth during the day.
Prior to any major marketing and awareness campaigns the BrightTouch systems were logging an average usage of over 650,000 customers per year.
